5.12.2008 | A prince fights for his crown
I feel rather ashamed about my previous post. I sounded like a person who only cared about blogging and not the true passion of blogging/writing. So now I’m apologizing to all my readers. I’ll talk more about my life and rants.
And now, presenting, today’s blog entry!
NARNIA … where animals talk … where trees walk … where a battle is about to begin.
A prince denied his rightful throng gathers a army in a desperate attempt to rid his land of a false king. But in the end, it is a battle of honour between two men alone that will decide the fate of the world.
Taken from the back of Prince Caspian
I have never been a fan of this series until they had a writing competition for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. The prizes are fantastic, 20 movie passes + $500 worth of book vouchers or exclusive Movie Memorabila! Sure it was attractive, my mind was all set to write it but today was the dateline and my story isn’t complete. I felt ashamed of myself as well as the feeling like I let myself down.
I’ve always been a good writer, why did I procrastinate?
But tell me, do you personally like The Chronicles of Narnia series? Which is your favourite character and why. The best answer gets a eKiss from me.
Before I end my blog for the night, I think you guys should have heard about the powerful earthquake has killed at least 8,500 people in China’s south-western Sichuan province, up to 5,000 of them in just one county. It is really scary that I was there on holiday with my parents in October last year and they had planned to buy a house there. :O But look on the bright side, nature was doing a good deed. I mean China is overpopulated. There are millions of people there and they are having crisis because many people are poor. Okay I’m totally kidding. Please I’m not so mean!!!

I *think* I might have read the Narnia series when I was young, but it’s really the movie(s) that’s had an lasting impression on me. I absolutely loved the first one, and I can’t wait for Narnia: Prince Caspian to come out! My favorite character so far would have to be Aslan, but I must say, Prince Caspian is cute! Hehe, jk
It’s a shame you missed the deadline for the competition
The prizes sound amazing!
It is such a tragedy what happened in China
I hope the country recovers. It would be so scary to be involve in an Earthquake.
I have read the first book (The Magician’s Nephew) and obviously seen the movie (Lion, Witch & Wardrobe). We have tickets to see the new one on Saturday and I am quite excited about it. I like them all so far. I want read all the books someday but who knows when that will be…:)
To be quite honest, I don’t really care for the Chronicles of Narnia series. As a child, I received the whole series as a Christmas and I could never really get into them. Sorry.
I’m also sorry that you weren’t able to get the story complete in time for the contest deadline.
lolol i was like..oh my god is she really saying nature did a good deed? but it’s ok cause you were just joking. whew! hahah i have not read any of the narnia books so i can’t really have an opinion on the matter
Personally, I’m not a big fan on the Narnia series. I almost fell asleep while reading prince Caspian. XD I’m sorry.
Yes, I heard about that earthquake. It’s quite unfortunate how all those people died. I almost got mad when you said it did good for the country because it was overpopulated, but then you said you were joking.
Ohhh I love Narnia! I even have the old movies from the eighties with all the horrible special effects! XD
I’m not sure which character is my favourite. Probably the queen. She’s evil as hell but kind of fascinating and beautiful.
Hmm… Chronicles of Narnia. Well, to be honest, I’ve never even read the books, but I really do like the movies. I think they’re really well made. I wish I knew about that competition. I so would have entered. Actually, I probably would have missed the dead line as well! lol.
That tradgedy really is terrible. The best thing we could do is pray. That’s all I can do for now! :-(.

It’s cool to visit here again! The earthquake makes me really sad… and I must admit though that if I were to think about it more and more, really, the world makes me sad because it’s such a sad, corrupted and destructive place!
